You are a cycling club or a group of friends, why not organize your cycling trip from Valmeinier , at the center of the greatest Alpine passes, Télégraphe, Galibier, Iseran, Croix de Fer, Glandon, Madeleine, Lacets de Montvernier, ...?
We offer you a secure shelter for your bike as well as the possibility of cleaning it. A repair stand is at your disposal.
The restorative sauna, our very comfortable mattresses, having a good beer sitting in our deckchairs will make you forget the efforts of the day.
We have received the Qualité Cyclo en Maurienne label as well as the Accueil Velo label which confirm our commitment to welcoming cyclists.
UCI PRO Teams: our chalet is ideal for a high altitude stadium as a Swiss UCI team recently did for 10 days. Climb during the day to more than 2000 meters of altitude, rest at 1500 meters: ideal for making red blood cells.
Ideas for cycle touring circuits in Maurienne
Located a few kilometers from the Col du Télégraphe and many nearby passes that will make you happy: Col du Télégraphe, Col du Galibier, loop of the Col de la Croix de Fer and Col du Glandon. Loop of the famous laces of Montvernier and Col de la Chaussy with the possibility of climbing towards the Col de la Madeleine. Col du Montcenis, Col de l'Iseran, but also the steep climb of Valmeinier 1900 and many other circuits.
LEPAPE MARMOTTE GRANFONDO ALPES
Like some of the cycling groups who stayed in our chalet, take the opportunity to do the circuit of the famous La Marmotte cycle touring event starting from the chalet. Same route of about 200 km for 5,000 meters of cumulative elevation gain, but instead of starting from Bourg d'Oisans, start from our place, start at the end of the Col du Télégraphe and continue to Valloire, Galibier, Bourg d'Oisans, climb to the Alpes d'Huez, go back down to Bourg d'Oisans, climb the Col de la Croix de Fer, go down to Saint Jean de Maurienne and finish the first part of the Col du Télégraphe by branching off to Valmeinier. Depending on your physical condition, organize your group by joining a few support vehicles to allow some to only do part of the circuit.
