Our chalet located at an altitude of 1500 meters in the hamlet of Mélèzes. is open 180 ° on the surrounding mountains: Col du Télégraphe, Crey du Quart, Pointe du Chateau, Vanoise massif. Without vis-à-vis the other chalets, it will allow you in summer to enjoy the calm, a splendid view and the alpine freshness. In winter, a free shuttle will take you to the center of the village of Valmeinier, at the departure of the chairlifts, after a 5-minute journey.
The Galibier-Thabor ski area
In winter, come and discover our world-class ski area "Galibier Thabor" which extends over 5 slopes and 160 KM of marked slopes between Valmeinier and Valloire, open from mid-December to mid-April , for a family and fun atmosphere. The area peaks at 2750 meters above sea level with a 1300 meter vertical drop on the Valmeinier side and more than 70% of the area above 2000 meters which guarantees quality snow.
For ski touring enthusiasts, the Col des Marches, the summit of Roche Noir and the bottom of the Valmeinier valley with its refuge are very popular with Savoyard guides for the diversity of the routes and the accessibility to the greatest number of people.
Two ski touring circuits are marked out in the forest. They allow you to practice ski touring safely with an arrival at the edge of the slope for a descent on groomed slopes.

In summer , at the gateway to the listed site of Mont Thabor, in the heart of the Neuvache valley, you will take numerous hiking routes between Galibier, Thabor, West Vanoise and Haute Maurienne which has nothing to envy the better known destinations in the Alps, minus the crowds.
